The environmental Volunteer & Internship Program (eVIP) strives to embody the EPD mission of "serving our community by protecting the environment through education, participation and conservation" by offering citizens a means of public engagement with the natural world around them.

Volunteering
eVIPs help Orange County improve and protect its ecosystem by volunteering their time through: watershed cleanups, restoration projects, storm drain labeling, internships, educational presentations and water quality sampling. Sign up for the eVIP monthly newsletter by entering your email address.

Internship
Orange County eVIP isn't only great for one-time volunteer opportunities, it can also help you get your foot in the door for future job opportunities with an internship. For information on internship opportunities through the eVIP program please visit our website.

Enviroscape Presentations & Workshops
Get trained on the Enviroscape Model and provide fun, hands-on watershed education presentations to youth in Orange County. Are you an educator? Once trained, classroom teachers and youth group leaders can "check out" our education materials. One-on-one trainings can be arranged to accommodate your schedule. When possible, EPD will provide 30-minute Enviroscape presentations to groups as requested.
