Volunteer Coaching/Scorekeeping Opportunities
Orange County Parks and Recreation Division
Description and Requirements
Put your sports experience to good use! Orange County Parks and Recreation needs adults, ages 18 and older, to volunteer to coach teams in Junior Magic Basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football and cheerleading or be scorekeepers for basketball and volleyball. To volunteer, complete our Volunteer Application and Background Screening Request Form (background checks are free) and submit via mail or in person at the park. Forms can be obtained via email or in person. Park locations and sports: Barnett Park (Jr. Magic Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Cheerleading), 4801 W Colonial Drive, Orlando, Phone 407-836-6248 Silver Star Community Park (Jr. Magic Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football), 2801 N Apopka-Vineland Road, Orlando 407-254-9250 West Orange Recreation Center (Volleyball, Flag Football, Basketball; Scorekeeping: Basketball, Volleyball), 309 S West Crown Point Cross Road, Winter Garden, 407-254-9245 Orlo Vista Park (Soccer, Flag Football), 1 N Powers Drive, Orlando, 407-254-9050 You must be 18 years of age or older to volunteer at this event.
