Orange County Convention Center LED Lighting Upgrade
The Orange County Convention Center LED Lighting Upgrade project is one of eleven projects in Orange County being funded by the Department of Energy through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG).
The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is comprised of meeting rooms, exhibit halls, work spaces, and concourses totaling 7 million square feet of lighted space. This project will upgrade existing lighting systems at the OCCC to new, energy efficient LED lamps, tubes and panels. The goal is to dramatically reduce energy consumption along with maintenance expenses and demonstrate excellence in operational efficiency. Replaced bulbs will not be discarded, but will be recycled into other buildings across the county as needed.
