Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant | County Wide Energy Efficient Upgrades

The County-Wide Energy Efficient Upgrades project is one of eleven projects in Orange County being funded by the Department of Energy through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). This project serves to make 20 prominent Orange County Government buildings more energy-efficient. This will be accomplished through various needed building upgrades, such as the installation of new, Energy Star certified air-conditioning and heating systems, the replacement of inefficient windows, installation of heat rejecting window film, the installation of less energy-consuming lighting, and a project to reduce water usage at the Orange County Jail.
