Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant | Photovoltaic Demonstration at Orange County Sheriff's Office Central Operations Center

The Sheriff’s Office Photovoltaic (PV) Installation project is one of eleven projects in Orange County being funded by the Department of Energy through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). Orange County is proposing the installation of a 60KW photovoltaic system at the Orange County Sheriff’s Central Operations Center located on 2500 West Colonial Drive, Orlando. This system will be located adjacent to the building and will dually serve as covered parking for several vehicles. This system will also supply power to a plug-in hybrid/electric vehicle charging station.
