The Real Time Technology consists on providing the Sheriff's Office a Geographic Information System (GIS), which will display the incident location and information about the surrounding area providing a clearer view of the circumstances and improves deputy officers safety by reducing unknowns about the situation. This technology will provide real-time incident location, current location, streets to help navigate to the incident, and parcels to know more about the residence if it is at a house. The GIS will provide geografic information that not only processes data, but most importantly is visual rather than text information. This provides the officers enough information to better prepare themselves for the call.
